An established training course

Pass Plus is an established training course aimed to help drivers become better drivers. You can take a Pass Plus course at any time, but it’s mainly aimed at new drivers in the first year after passing their test, to improve driving skills.

Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test due to a lack of driving experience - this is where Pass Plus comes in!

Pass Plus Lessons

Pass Plus lessons will build upon your existing driving skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to become more confident on the roads. You may even qualify for an insurance discount.

The Pass Plus Driving Course is made up of six practical modules covering:

• driving in town,
• driving in all weathers,
• driving on rural roads,
• driving at night,
• driving on dual carriageways and
• driving on motorways.

Anyone who holds a full UK licence is eligible to take part in the Pass Plus scheme. You will not have to take a test at the end of the Pass Plus course but you will be continually assessed. You must successfully complete all the modules in the Pass Plus course to an achieved or exceeded standard.

The Pass Plus course can be taken as three 2 hour sessions, two 3 hour sessions or can be completed in one day.
